VITRAFEX™ GemSeries is a high-luster gemtone polymer coating with extremely strong adhesion to 3d prints, resin and filament, as well as foam, wood, metals, and many other model and prop materials. VITRAFEX™ is applied in 2 steps, the Base Coat is highly pigmented to establish a strong background color for the Top Coat, a semi-transparent gemlike layer to give depth and contour. VITRAFEX™ uses isopropyl alcohol (IPA 91-99%) as a solvent and is very gentle on otherwise difficult surfaces such as XPS and other foams.
