VITRAFEX™ GemSeries is a high-luster gemtone polymer coating with extremely strong adhesion to 3d prints, resin and filament (especially PLA, PVB, and PETG), as well as foam, wood, metals and many other model and prop materials. VITRAFEX™ is applied in 2 steps, the Base Coat is highly pigmented to establish a strong background color for the Top Coat, a semi-transparent gemlike layer to give depth and contour. VITRAFEX™ uses isopropyl alcohol (IPA 91-99%) as a solvent and is very gentle on otherwise difficult surfaces such as XPS and other foams.
